Port Arthur Refinery

Robert W. Pease is President and Chief Executive Officer of Motiva Enterprises LLC, based at corporate headquarters in Houston Texas. He was elected to his current position in November 2008.

Immediately prior to his current position, he was President of Shell Trading (US) Company. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Supply for Motiva Enterprises LLC. Previous to these assignments he spent 15 years in leadership roles within downstream refining and marketing joint ventures involving Texaco, Saudi Refining and Shell.

Early in his career, he worked extensively in refining serving in various roles from technical positions to refinery operations and planning management. He also supported refinery operations from corporate offices as he worked in various roles including crude oil trading, and product supply and trading management.

With more than 30 years in the industry, his experience encompasses all facets of U.S. downstream business and offers a global perspective from his years in supply and trading and his involvement in three joint venture companies.

Mr. Pease earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering and a Minor in economics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and is a graduate of the Executive Program at the University of Virginia, Darden Graduate school of Business.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Petrochemicals and Refiners Association; a member of the boards of the United Way of Greater Houston and the Sam Houston Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America; a member of the board of advisors of Catalyst, and a member of the board of trustees of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

The current owners are Saudi Refining, Inc. and Shell.

Aramco Services Company (ASC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco), the national oil company of Saudi Arabia.

ASC has a contract with its parent company under which it provides a wide range of services through six departments operating out of its headquarters in Houston, Texas, and an office in Washington, D.C.
